Nick Aysseh and his wife Christina founded this company with one thing in mind, keeping kids SAFE. Nick's passion for injury prevention began back in 1998 when he had the opportunity to lead some of the fire prevention and public education programs for New Hanover County Fire Services in Wilmington, NC. Nick worked as a firefighter while attending The University of North Carolina at Wilmington where he earned a B.S. in Business Management. His work on fire prevention and public safety education programs throughout New Hanover County including all of the elementary schools started the path to eventually forming The Car Seat Crew LLC. 

Nick grew up in New Canaan, CT where he attended New Canaan Country School and the New Canaan High School. After graduating from college Nick returned to the area and began a career at Karl Chevrolet in New Canaan. Nick managed the service department and during his time there he got involved in child passenger safety. In 2005 he became a certified child passenger safety technician and offered his skills to dealership clients by helping them properly install their child seats, a service the dealership had already been doing for several years. Nick also volunteered with the former Fairfield County Safe Kids and participated in a large number of car seat checkup clinics throughout Fairfield County. In 2006 Nick left the automobile industry to start Coastal Canines LLC, a pet care company. He continued to stay involved in the child passenger safety field and when Fairfield County Safe Kids closed its doors due to the downturn in the economy. Nick continued to volunteer with local police departments that offered child seat checks. 

Nick became a CPST Instructor in 2015 and now helps teach the 4-day class to certify new technicians throughout the state as well as help current technicians stay up to date with the ever changing car seat trends, continuing education and re-certification. When Nick and Christina's son was born, Nick's passion for child safety and injury prevention rose to a new level. As a parent of two kids, he sees things from a whole new perspective. It became apparent that there is a huge demand for child passenger safety education in our area. The police and fire departments that offer such services are not enough to meet the needs of our busy area residents. Nick is determined to reach as many parents and caregivers as possible since the vast majority of child seats are not installed or used properly. Therefore, The Car Seat Crew LLC was launched in 2015 with the simple goal of keeping kids safe. Offering child passenger safety education and installation services in the convenience of one's home takes the burden out of trying to find an appointment time at a police or fire department. Nick has the expertise and compassion to make any parent or caregiver feel comfortable and confident with their new ability to keep their child safer and more secure than before.
